A Different Quest for Gwen? - Guild Wars Forums

I started a new char friday afternoon (this would be my third char). When i left the city and expected to see Gwen and be asked to retrieve her flute i was suprised to get instead a request from a trainer to go fetch gwen and bring her safely back. Is this new?

The quest is slightly different for different professions.

If you pay attention, you will notice that each class have their own version of killing the skales to start with.
Rescuing Gwenn is just one of them

so what char are you using? I did it with Elemental Necro (don't remember if I had chosen necro by that point, prolly not) and I also don't remember if I had to fetch her first or not...

He is using a monk main...

So then for Elemental you have to get her flute, for Monk you have to find her... any other variations?

Yep, monk mains have to save Gwen from the bad guys.

Guess it's never too early to start and get used to saving everyone's arse as a monk, early and often.
